The Motorola Razr 2019 foldable smartphone
announced last November was launched in India back in March. It was supposed to
go on sale in the country from April 2, but the sales were delayed multiple
times due to the nation-wide lockdown imposed by the Indian government to curb
the spread of COVID-19.
However, with e-commerce companies in
India now allowed to deliver non-essential goods in areas marked as orange and
green zones, Motorola has finally kicked off the sales of the Razr 2019 in
India. It is priced at INR 124,999 (US$ 1,655/€ 1,525) and can be purchased from
Flipkart in Noir Black color.
The Motorola Razr 2019 has a Snapdragon
710 SoC at the helm with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone runs the
outdated Android Pie out of the box and is yet to receive the Android 10
update. The foldable Razr packs two displays - a 6.2" foldable screen of
2142x876 pixel resolution, and a 2.7" 800x600 pixel secondary display
that's placed on the outside of the flap.
The Razr 2019 features a 16MP main camera
joined by a ToF sensor, and for selfies and video calls, you get a 5MP unit
placed above the main screen inside the notch. The smartphone packs a 2,510 mAh
battery with 15W charging support.
