Launched in South Korea earlier this
month, the LG Velvet has now made its way to European shores and is listed on
the company’s Italian site. Pricing and availability are still not detailed,
but they should follow any moment now.
The LG Velvet marks a turning point in the
brand identity with a new design language “inspired by nature”. The phone
brings a 6.8-inch OLED display with a waterdrop notch cutout and FHD+
resolution and stereo speakers. The back houses the raindrop style camera setup
with a 48MP main shooter alongside an 8MP ultrawide snapper and 5MP depth
helper.
The Snapdragon 765G chipset sits at the
helm paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The battery comes in
at 4,300 mAh and supports 25W fast wired and 9W wireless charging. The phone is
also IP68 and MIL-STD-810G compliant. LG is also selling its Dual Screen and
stylus accessories.
