The P30 Pro is Huawei's last flagship
smartphone that was able to launch with Google apps and services onboard, and
the Chinese company has been milking this fact ever since. First we got some
new colors last fall during IFA, and now there's a P30 Pro New Edition coming.
The phone that was revealed by Huawei's
own website in Germany earlier this month is now up for pre-order in the same
country, straight from the manufacturer itself. It will set you back € 749, but
if you pre-order you'll get free Huawei FreeBuds 3 and a mini speaker as well.
Furthermore, if you bundle a Huawei Watch GT 2, the wearable will only cost you
€ 99.
The pre-orders run through May 31, with
shipments expected to start from June 1 onwards. If you're wondering what's new
about the P30 Pro New Edition, well... not much, just a new color version,
which is called Silver Frost. It looks very similar to the P40 Pro's hue of the
same name. Additionally, you can get the P30 Pro New Edition in black or
Aurora, although neither of those is new.
The P30 Pro New Edition should be
identical to the P30 Pro in specs, as it pretty much has to be in order to
still count as the same device and thus be able to ship with Google stuff baked
in.
