Honor launched the 30S midranger at the
end of March, two weeks ahead of the Honor 30 flagships. At first, the phone
was introduced in White, Green, and Black, while a fourth gradient color was
only mentioned, but not shown. Today the company revealed it will be called
Butterfly Red and finally available for sale on May 18.
Тhe color is likely the only change - the
phone will remain powered by Kirin 820 that has an integrated 5G modem. RAM is
8GB, while storage will be either 128GB or 256GB. Pricing of the phone will
also remain unchanged - CNY2,399 or CNY2,699, depending on the memory option
you choose.
While all the other three colors are
available for purchase at JD.com and Vmall, the Purchase button for the
Butterfly Red option is still greyed out. It will go on sale in four days,
exactly at noon Chinese time. Vmall is also offering gifts like an Honor Band
or a 10% discount for a selected number of fans.
