Samsung’s latest Galaxy S20 series is
powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 in select countries, now the Galaxy Note20+
with the model number SM-N986U has surfaced in Geekbench listing revealing
Snapdragon 865+ processor with clock speeds up to 3.09GHz.
It also reveals Android 10 and 8GB of RAM.
According to leakster who goes by the name Ice universe, the Snapdragon 865+ is
slightly overclocked processor compared to the Snapdragon 865 with prime core
is clocked at 3.09GHz compared to 2.84GHz in the 865. The 3 bigger cores are
said to be clocked at 2.4 GHz and the other four smaller cores at 1.8GHz, same
as the Snapdragon 865.
The Snapdragon 865+ should be a minor
upgrade to the 865, same as the minor upgrade from 855 to 855+. We can expect
the 865+ to be introduced some time in early Q3 since the 855+ was introduced
around the same time along with the ASUS ROG Phone II.
