Back in October, Razer unveiled its first
entry into the true wireless (TWS) earphones market with the Hammerhead TWS
earphones. Now, the gamer-centric company is back with a more colorful
Pokemon-themed version complete with a Poke ball-shaped charging case. The
limited-edition earphones sport a yellow coat of paint complete with a Pikachu
logo in place of the Razer one.
Other than the altered visual appearance,
the headphones are identical to the Hammerhead which means 13mm drivers,
Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with a special gaming mode which offers 60ms
latency. Battery life is rated at 3 hours on a single charge but the charging
case is good for up to 5 recharges. The whole package is IPX4-rated and the
backs of the earphones also offer touch controls.
The Razer Pikachu TWS earphones will
retail for CNY 849 (US$ 120/€ 110) and are going on sale on April 16 in China.
There are no details on international availability yet.
