The Huawei P40 series was announced last
month and even went on sale in Europe two days ago. Yet it's only now making it
to the maker's homeland of China. The vanilla P40 starts at CNY 4,188 while the
base model of the Pro variant costs CNY 5,988. There's also a special edition of
the P40 Pro, which comes in a single 8GB/256GB configuration and costs
CNY 6,888.
The P40 Pro+, which is the most advanced
smartphone in the lineup, starts at CNY 7,988. The P40 and P40 Pro are available
for purchase in China through VMall, whereas the Pro+ will go on sale in June.

The P40 and P40 Pro are offered in Silver
Frost, Blush Gold, Deep Sea Blue, Ice White and Black shades, whereas the P40
Pro+ has two color options - White Ceramic and Black Ceramic.
The P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ are all
powered by the Kirin 990 SoC, run Android 10-based EMUI 10.1 (sans GMS), sport
50MP main cameras and 32MP selfie shooters. But that's where the similarities
end.
