HP Latex R-series printer

The firm HP has presented its new family of HP Latex R-series printers. It incorporates new features and solutions aimed at print service providers and integrated into a hybrid printing platform. That allows image printing in high quality on rigid and flexible materials, thanks to the use of water-based HP latex inks.

The HP Latex R-series printers offer professional color quality, which achieves more intense finishes, allowing them to make an important difference in the world of rigid printing. For this we must add, the new HP White Latex Ink, which prints in “real white” color. Achieving high quality and a glossy finish that does not get yellow over time.

The new HP Latex R-series printers also bring significant improvements in productivity and efficiency. We are talking about an improvement on both fronts of up to 50%. Something that has been possible thanks to the innovations introduced at the software level. That covers aspects such as queue management improvements and automatic updates. It also highlights a loading process and more efficient handling of multi-sheet printing materials, which contribute to increasing production significantly.

These new printers are ready to work with different applications, such as custom short-run packaging, POP corrugated displays, and printed thermoforming. Offering fine details and high image quality for saturated color on the cardboard material. They also highlight the HP Latex ink elongation capabilities when producing thermoformed printer parts.

The capabilities of R Series rigid substrates include paper and plastic, PVC foam, corrugated cardboard, acrylic, polycarbonate, compressed cardboard, honeycomb cardboard, aluminum-wood composite panel. Roll substrates include PVC banners, self-adhesive vinyl, coated paper, polypropylene, polystyrene, polycarbonate, polyester, textiles, and canvas.

HP Latex R-series printers offer great versatility with a unique technology that achieves the same levels of quality in both rigid and flexible campaigns. A single ink cartridge also offers a full range of vibrant HP Latex colors along with the brightest white in the industry.
