Hong Kong based brand EarFun is slowly
becoming a staple in the audio products world and they can show pretty
impressive results recently. For example with two CES Innovation awards in 2020
they are the most awarded new audio brand of the convention. And their upcoming
EarFun Air earbuds model managed to snatch the prestigious IF Design Award,
which is also a mean feat. And because these airbuds are also among the two CES
award nominees it’s surely pretty much worth taking a closer look at them.
Earbuds EarFun Air will be trying to
captivate the audience not just with great sound thanks to dual graphene
drivers and seamless ergonomic fit, but also with many added bonus features and
technologies. It has in-ear capacitative detection technology, intuitive touch
controls including volume, IPX7 waterproof certification with new Sweatshield™
technology, Bluetooth 5.0 connection, full TWS features or enhanced 4-microphone
setup for noise cancellation purposes.
Battery life of dual 55 mAh should be
about 6 hours and with the 500 mAh charging box you can extend that up to 30
hours. The box itself has USB Type-C port and wireless charging capabilities so
keeping up the cutting edge modern philosophy too. And of course the earbuds
have full support for activation of voice assistant like Siri or Google
Assistant.
EarFun Air should be launching in April
and will be available in black or white color variant. Expected global
availability on Amazon is May and we still don’t know the projected pricing.
But based on previous experiences with this brand it will be kept pretty
affordable, while delivering high-end quality.
