Xiaomi officially brought the Mi 10
and Mi 10 Pro to Europe , announced the Mi 10 Lite 5G, and also expanded its
smart accessories and TV lineup in Europe. During the keynote, Xiaomi also
boasted about its growing AIoT presence which now numbers 213 million connected
devices around the world.
Starting off with the new Mi True Wireless
(TWS) Earphones 2 which are the global version of the Mi AirDots Pro 2 that
were launched in China back in September. The Mi TWS 2 are equipped with 14.2
mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with support for LDHC Hi-Res audio and
dual microphones for noise cancellation. They also support instant pairing with
MIUI phones and in-ear detection through embedded optical sensors which can
pause your music as soon as you take one off.
The earphones also support gesture
controls for music playback, call and voice assistant interaction. Battery life
is rated at 4 hours of endurance. The earphones also come with a USB-C charging
case which brings an additional charge worth 14 hours of music playback. The Mi
True Wireless Earphones 2 will be available in white color for € 80 and are
coming to European markets starting April 25.
Next up we have the Xiaomi AX3600 Wi-Fi 6
router which supports 2,976 Mbps speeds over its multiple bands. It boasts a
Qualcomm 6-core processor, 7 independent antennas with a dedicated one for AIoT
devices and 6 external power amplifiers. It can connect to up to 248 devices.
The retail price for the Xiaomi AX3600 Wi-Fi 6 router is €120 and it will be
available starting July 15.
It also introduced Mi AIoT Router AC2350 with
Qualcomm CPU, dual-band Wi-Fi with MU-MIMO speeds up to 2183Mbps, 6 external
omnidirectional antennas + 1 AIoT antenna that automatically connects to Xiaomi
smart devices using app. The Mi AIoT Router AC2350 is priced at € 49.99 (US$ 55).
Xiaomi is also bringing its 65-inch Mi TV
4S to European shores. As the name implies it comes with a 65-inch LED panel
with 4K resolution, HDR 10+ support and MEMC technology. It sports an aluminum
frame, two 10W speakers with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD support, 16GB onboard
storage and 2GB RAM. The software front is covered by Android 9 Pie.
There’s also Bluetooth Low Energy as well
as dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity. In terms of I/O you get 3 HDMI outputs
alongside 3 USB ports, AV out and an Ethernet port. There’s also a built-in
Chromecast for easy video sharing. The Mi TV 4S 65-inch is coming June 15 for
€ 550.
