The iQOO 3 5G was unveiled a month ago and
some were disappointed that the gaming phone came with a 60Hz screen. Now the
company is teasing a new model - the iQOO Neo3 - that will feature a
"higher refresh rate".
Like previous "Neo" models from
the vivo sub-brand, this one will feature a flagship chipset - a Snapdragon
865. That's the same chip as the iQOO 3, but this time its Adreno GPU will be
able to go above 60fps.
The phone will be revealed in the coming
days, but we expect that a few more teasers will be published before that
happens. The iQOO 3 5G has a 6.44" Super AMOLED display with 1080p+
resolution and 180Hz touch sampling rate for lag-free input (but 60Hz refresh
rate). It supports HDR+ and can push out up to 1,200nits of brightness.
Clearly, the Neo3 will have a new panel, but we'll have to wait on those
teasers to find out more.
