Samsung is one of the few manufacturers
still churning out tablets. Just as it did last year, we expect there will be
new models this year that cut across different price categories. Specifications
of one of the upcoming mid-range tablets called the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)
have surfaced on the web thanks to a Google Play Console listing.
Just as the name says, this tablet will
have an 8.4-inch display with a 1200 x 1920 resolution. There will be an Exynos
7904 processor powering the device and it will be paired with 3GB of RAM.
Surprisingly, the spec sheet says the tablet is running Android 9 Pie instead
of the latest version which is Android 10. It is possible the Galaxy Tab A 8.4
(2020) will run Android 10 out of the box or get an update after its launch.
There are still a couple of specs that are
unknown such as the storage capacity, cameras, and battery capacity. These
details may surface before the tablet launches.
