Samsung Galaxy S20

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S20 lineup next Tuesday, and now we got more info about its pricing and availability in the company's home market. According to a rumor, the phones will start from over US$ 1,000 on the home market in South Korea, with the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra costing US$ 1,350.

Reservations and pre-orders will begin on February 14 with actual shipping dates and market launch scheduled for March 6. The Galaxy S20 is said to start from KRW 1.25 million, which is equal to exactly US$ 1,052. Going for the Plus version will cost KRW 100,000 extra - this price tag translates to exactly US$ 1,137.

The cost of the Ultra is KRW 1.6 million in domestic currency, but unlike the two other phones which will have 128 GB storage, here we are talking about 256 GB. All these prices are for versions with 12 GB RAM, which should be the base across the lineup.

A new leak has revealed the US prices of Samsung’s upcoming flagships. According to an insider source, the Galaxy S20 lineup will start at US$ 999 for the standard S20 and will go all the way to US$ 1,399 for the S20 Ultra while the mid-sized S20+ is expected to retail for US$ 1,199. Keep in mind that these are the prices for the LTE models as there’s still no word on the price of the 5G models.

Earlier we learned S20 line’s UK pricing which has the 4G S20 starting at £ 800 (£ 875 for the 5G version) while the S20+ is expected to retail for £ 1,000 in its 4G config and £ 1,075 for the 5G equipped model. The S20 Ultra on the other hand is expected to come in at £ 1,145 with 5G as standard. The Galaxy S20 family goes official next week on February 11 so we’ll know more details then.
