Samsung midrange lineup's refresh is
already underway - Galaxy A71, Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A01 are official, while
the Galaxy M31 is incoming. However, the company is preparing a new phone that
won’t be part of the " 1" generation - it will be named Galaxy A70e
and will have less impressive cameras and fingerprint experience than the
regular Samsung Galaxy A70.
3D renders of the Galaxy A70e suggest
three vertical shooters, but by the looks of it, only of the cameras will be
functional, the other two are for macro or portrait shots. We also see a
fingerprint scanner on the back - it was under the display in the original
Galaxy A70.
Confusingly, the Galaxy A70e is going to
have a micro USB port on the bottom next to a speaker grille, while the 3.5 mm
audio jack is positioned on top. The renders also suggest flat bottom and top
edges. The Galaxy A70e is pictured with an Infinity-U or Infinity-V display
(that is Samsung talk for waterdrop notch) and a pretty thick bezel on the
bottom.
