Back in December, Xiaomi announced its
latest flagship device dubbed Redmi K30 5G under its Redmi sub-brand. At the
time of release, this smartphone has 6GB + 64GB version which costs 1999 yuan,
6GB + 128GB version costing 2299 yuan (US$ 333), and the 8GB + 128GB version which
goes for 2599 yuan (US$ 377). Now, the latest version of this smartphone (8GB +
256GB) will hit the shelves tomorrow. According to Jingdong’s landing page,
this smartphone will be available for 2899 yuan (US$ 413).
If you remember, the Redmi K30 5G comes in
four colors of Deep Sea Light, Time Monologue, Flower Shadow, and Purple Jade
Fantasy. In January, the company put up all the colour options for sale for the
first time.
The Redmi K30 5G sports a 6.67-inch
dual-hole full-screen. The mobile phone
uses a display ratio of 20: 9 and with a 91% screen-to-body ratio. This display
supports eye protection mode 2.0. The body uses a 3D four-curved glass design
as well as a dual Corning GG5 protective glass.
Under the hood, it carries the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 765G mobile platform which uses a 7nm EUV process. It also
integrates the Snapdragon X52 modem and RF system which supports SA / NSA
dual-mode network.
As for photography, there is an AI
dual-front-camera with a 20MP + 2MP sensors combination (supports cute
shooting, movie portrait mode, and RAW format). The rear camera uses a
quad-sensor combination of 64MP main lens + 8MP super wide-angle lens + 5MP
super macro lens + 2MP DoF lens (1.75μm pixels, supports portrait mode + movie
mode). The battery capacity is 4500mAh, and it supports 30W fast charge.
However, the biggest selling point of this handset is the dual-mode 5G support.
It can also connect 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi at the same time.
In terms of cameras, the Redmi K30 5G
mobile phone adopts a front and rear six-camera full-scene solution. The
