Huawei has announced a new Y series
smartphone, dubbed Huawei Y7p. The Huawei Y7p is powered by the Kirin 710F SoC
paired with 4GB RAM. It runs Android Pie-based EMUI 9.1 out of the box and
comes with 64GB of storage onboard. There's also a microSD card slot, allowing
storage expansion by up to 512GB.
The Y7p is built around a 6.39" HD+
LCD that has a punch hole in the top-left corner for the 8MP selfie camera.
Around the back, you get a fingerprint reader and a triple camera setup, which
is a combination of 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensor units.
The Kirin 710F-powered smartphone comes in
Aurora Blue and Midnight Black colors and packs a 4,000 mAh battery that draws
power through a microUSB port at 10W. The Huawei Y7p is priced at THB 4,999
(US$ 160/€ 145) in Thailand and is up for pre-orders until February 20 through
Lazada, JD Central, Shopee, and ThisShop.com. If you pre-book one, you will get
gifts worth over THB 4,699 (US$ 150/€ 137).
