Right on schedule, the Realme
X50 5G is official and despite the legion of leaks and teasers it managed to
bring few surprises. Up front the X50 5G has a 6.57-inch IPS LCD with 120Hz
refresh rate and a dual punch hole selfie camera - a regular 16MP unit and an
ultrawide 8MP snapper.
Inside is the new Snapdragon
765G chipset with an integrated 5G modem. You'll have a choice of 6GB, 8GB and
12GB of RAM, which come with either 128GB or 256GB of storage. On the rear the
Realme X50 5G brings the popular 64MP f/1.8 snapper, which delivers 4-in-1
binned 16MP snapshots, along with a 12MP tele + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP macro
setup.
The built-in 4,200mAh battery
is capable of 30W VOOC 4.0 wired charging. The Realme X50 5G launches with
Color OS 7.0 over Android 10. This is the first phone to pack the company's
custom Realme UI on top instead of using what Oppo provides with Color OS.
