most consumers, one of the first few things that they will buy along with their
new smartphone is a case and a tempered glass screen protector. Very few
manufacturers provide these two things along with the purchase of their device
making users buy third party accessories by themselves. Now Xiaomi is releasing
their first party protective glass for the Note 8 Pro.
The
Mi Protective Glass, made in association with Corning, is currently only available
for the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Comprising of multiple layers that include an
oleophobic coating, Xiaomi claims a 5X protection improvement over local soda
lime tempered glass.
It
also features 2.5D edges, high visibility for full clarity and colour and is
rated with 9H hardness. The Mi Protective Glass is available for purchase
online on Xiaomi’s store for a price of Rs. 399.
