The
Enco Free is expected to launch on December 26 in China alongside the Reno3 and
Reno3 Pro but was on display at the event. The Enco Free is not like the O-Free
that launched last year. The new pair of earbuds has a more familiar design and
is available in white, black, and pink.
The
earbuds have support for touch controls. You can slide a finger on the left
earbud to adjust the volume while the right earbud is for switching between
tracks. OPPO will ship the earbuds with three silicone tips of different sizes,
so users can switch to the one that provides the best fit.
OPPO
says the Enco Free uses AI uplink noise cancellation. It also has wear
detection, so it pauses and resumes playback when you take it out or put it
back in your ear. The
Enco Free has a 5-hour battery life and goes up to 25 hours with the charging
case. The case charges via USB Type-C only unlike the new Realme Buds Air which
adds support for wireless charging. It takes 90 minutes to charge the earbuds
and almost 2 hours to charge the case.
OPPO
will sell the Enco Free for 499 Malaysian Ringgit (US$ 120) when it is announced
in January 2020. Also, registration is already live in China ahead of its
launch next week.
