The
entry-level A8 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS panel with the same 20:9 aspect
ratio as the A91 and an 8MP selfie cam housed in the waterdrop notch. The back
houses a triple camera setup with a 12MP main and two 2MP snappers. There’s
also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Under
the hood, we have the Helio P35 with 4GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
The battery comes in at 4,230 mAh but sadly there’s no fast charging. The
software front is covered by ColorOS 6.1 which sits on top of Android 9 Pie.
The
Oppo A8 comes in Azure and Black colors and starts at CNY 1,199 (US$ 170) for the
4/128GB model. It’s already up for reservation while official sales again start
on December 26.
