The
Huawei Watch GT 2 announced in September has arrived in India. The smartwatch is offered in two sizes -
42mm and 46mm. The former comes in a single Night Black color and costs
INR 14,990 (US$ 210/€ 190), while the latter comes in Matte Black, Pebble Brown and
Titanium Grey colors priced at INR 15,990 (US$ 225/€ 200), INR 17,990 (US$ 250/€ 230),
and INR 21,990 (US$ 310/€ 280), respectively.
The
46mm version will be available through Amazon.in, Flipkart and offline stores
across the country from December 19, but you can pre-book one between December
12 and December 18 to get Huawei Freelace Bluetooth earphones worth INR 6,999
(US$ 100/€ 90) for free. The
42mm model will also be sold through online and offline channels in India, but
its sale date is currently unknown.
The
Watch GT 2 is powered by the company's homegrown Kirin A1 SoC. The 42mm model
sports a 1.2" AMOLED display with 390x390 pixel resolution, while the 46mm
variant flaunts a 1.39" screen of 454x454 pixel resolution.
That's
not the only difference between the two models, though. The smaller version
packs 16MB RAM and 215mAh battery while the larger variant ships with 32MB RAM
and a 455mAh cell. However, both models have 2GB of storage onboard.
The
Watch GT 2 works with both iPhone and Android smartphones and comes with
features like heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring and fitness tracking. The
smartwatch also comes with GPS and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity as well as water
resistance up to 50 meters.
