The vivo S5, arriving on November 14, has appeared
in an official poster that confirms its design. The image posted by vivo on
Chinese social network Weibo confirms the S5 will sport a punch-hole display
surrounded by slim bezels and a fingerprint reader underneath, which confirms
it's an OLED panel.
On the back, the S5 will have four cameras, three of
which are placed in a diamond formation with the LED flash, while the fourth
one is below the protruding plate. There's also text above the
cameras reading "48 megapixel", confirming previous rumors of the
phone coming with a 48MP main camera.
The image also tells us that S5 will have its power
button and volume rocker placed on the right side. vivo hasn't officially revealed
any specifications of the S5 other than confirming 48MP primary camera, but
thanks to TENAA, we know it will come with the Snapdragon 712 SoC with up to
8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The screen will measure 6.44" diagonally and
have 1080p resolution, with the hole on the top-right corner housing a 32MP
selfie shooter. The 48MP main camera on the back will be joined by an 8MP
ultrawide, 5MP depth, and 2MP macro units. The vivo S5 will ship with a
4,010 mAh battery, but it's unclear whether it will draw power from a microUSB port
or USB-C.
We are exactly a week from the unveiling, so expect
vivo to reveal some more features of the S5 in the days leading to the official
announcement.
