The Zaunkoenig M1K carbon fiber gaming mouse weighs
just 23 g and has been designed by a team based in Stuttgart, Germany. Marketed
as the world’s lightest gaming mouse the Zaunkoenig M1K has this week launched
via Kickstarter and is now available to back with earlybird pledges available
from € 149.
Considerably lighter than most other supposedly
“lightweight” gaming mice on the market the M1K uses a 3D printed fractal
honeycomb bottom shell which weighs just 6g. Finished with Hyperglide mouse
feet over the screw holes you can open up your M1K mouse without destroying its
feet. Tthe Zaunkoenig M1K uses 8,000 Hertz when overclocked in Windows as
opposed to 1,000 Hertz, reducing input lag by 0.4375 milliseconds on average;
compared to 500 Hertz mice, the Zaunkoenig M1K will be quicker by 0.9375
milliseconds on average.
