Oppo launched the Reno A in the Japanese market
today. The phone comes with a 6.4-inch 1080x2340 19.5:9 AMOLED touchscreen with
an in-display fingerprint sensor and Gorilla Glass 5 protection, the Snapdragon
710 SoC at the helm, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.
On the rear there's a dual rear camera system, with
a 16 MP main snapper aided by a 2 MP depth sensor. There's a 25 MP selfie
shooter in the notch up front. The battery capacity is 3,600 mAh, and the phone
runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6 on top. It has IP67 certification for water
and dust resistance, and is available in blue and black.
The handset is priced at JPY 35,800, which at the
current exchange rates translates into US$ 332 or € 303. Pre-orders are live and
the Reno A will become available in Japan on October 18 at major electronics
stores as well as Amazon and Lotte. It will also be on offer at Line Mobile and
Lotte Mobile.
