The Oppo A5 (2020) arrived on in India back in
September and now a similar device is launching in China, although with a
different name. The Oppo A11 appeared in China Telecom listings with a price
tag and key specs, and the main differences compared to the A5 are the main
camera and the selfie shooter - the body remains the same.
The images reveal a device with a 6.5” screen and a
waterdrop notch for the selfie camera, which has a 16 MP sensor. On the back we
see three shooters, lined up vertically, with a depth sensor on the side,
keeping company to the LED flash.
Since there is a fingerprint scanner under the whole
camera setup, the screen is likely LCD - if it was an OLED panel, Oppo would’ve
put the reader underneath it. Specs-wise, the main camera is said to be 48 MP, which is different
than the main 12MP cam on the Oppo A5 (2020). The RAM is 4GB and storage is
128GB storage, and this whole setup will cost CNY 1,599 - that’s equal to US$ 225
or € 205.
These features suggest the Oppo A11 is actually a
lot closer to the Oppo A9 (2020), but we'll know for sure when the company
actually announces the phone.
