Logitech has unveiled a new mechanical keyboard
under its gaming keyboard lineup and this one is built to last for long. The
Logitech G Pro X mechanical keyboard comes with swappable key switches. The
mechanical keyboard cots a huge US$ 150 while the swappable switches can replace
with US$ 50 kits and comes in three options – GX Blue, GX Brown, and GX Red
switches.
This is the company’s first keyboard with such
swappable switches and Logitech says it is barely trying out the design.
Removing the key switches won’t be very difficult as the keyboard and the
switch sets will both ship with a puller for removing both the keycaps and the
underlying switches. While it’s a bit tedious to pop off every key and every
switch, the process is pretty easy after you get to master the process.
Logitech G Pro X mechanical keyboardThe keyboard
comes with the usual RGB key lighting which looks attractive although it isn’t
very bright. The switches look like the Cherry MX switches and are actually
compatible with it. Thus, the Cherry MX switches can be swapped with that of
the G Pro X.
The G Pro X keyboard is available to buy on
Logitech’s website.
