Over the last couple of days, an IQOO device
appeared on Antutu before IQOO itself confirmed the device’s existence and
announcement set for next week on October 24. Shortly after, a Chinese retailer
has listed the gaming handset complete with color finishes and memory
configurations.
The listing still doesn’t reveal the phone’s other
specifications like the camera setup or the battery size. Instead, there are
teasers wondering about the phone’s features, hinting some kind of advanced
thermal cooling, a large battery and flash charge, and something suggesting UFS
3.0 storage.
We do know the IQOO Neo 855 will come with a
Snapdragon 855 and a Full HD display, there are also three memory
configurations: 6GB + 64GB or 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. Two colors were revealed
by IQOO earlier today including Carbon Black and Electro-Optic Purple. Another
listing reveals a special edition version with special packaging as seen in the
second Source link.
Buyers in China can already reserve the phones from
Chinese retailer JD.com. The phone’s remaining details will be revealed next
week on October 24, but perhaps we’ll see more specs leak before then.
