Through Berlein Mobile, Cherry Mobile released the
Flare S8 Pro, a rare budget phone with large 4GB RAM and 64GB storage under PHP
5K. At PHP 4,999, it is even more affordable than the PHP 5,499 myX12
with similar memory configuration and chipset.
The specs include a 6.26-inch IPS screen with HD+
resolution and a tiny notch, 1.6GHz 64-bit UNISOC SC9863A octa-core processor,
and PowerVR GE8322 GPU. The battery is just a bit small at 3,000mAh. But, it has a
fingerprint reader behind and 700MHz 4G LTE. The cameras include a 16MP
OV16880P w/ AF, BSI + 2MP w/ LED flash. For selfies, you'll see an 8MP GC8034
sensor with w/ BSI in the notch.
