AGM has launched a commemorative edition of its
latest 4G rugged phone – AGM M5. The device is dubbed AGM M5 Climbers Edition
It is to mark the official release of the blockbuster movie The Climbers tells
the real-life expedition of two generations of Chinese mountaineers to ascend
Mount Qomolangma from the perilous north side in 1960 and 1975. The film was
released in China, the United Kingdom and North America on September 30,
2019.
The AGM M5 is a rugged feature phone that is
equipped with 4G cellular connectivity. As is usual with AGM phones, the device
comes with IP68 waterproof and dustproof. The original M5 was first launched in
August this year.
The M5 packs an alpha-numeric physical keyboard as
well as a 2.8-inch touchscreen input display. It is powered by a Qualcomm 8909
processor and runs Android 8.1 OS with simplified deep customization. The M5
has a built-in 2500mAh battery with a Type-C interface and a nominal standby
time of up to 150 hours.
