Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy M30s on Sept.
18. The landing page of the phone has appeared on Amazon India through which
its design and some specs have been revealed. Popular tipster Ishan Agarwal has
shared more details on the specifications of the smartphone.
According to the tipster, the upcoming Galaxy M30s
measures 159 x75.1 x 8.9mm and houses a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display. The rear
side of the phone has a vertical triple camera setup that includes a
48-megapixel primary lens with f/2.0 aperture, an 8-megapixel superwide lens
and a 5-megapixel lens for adding depth effects.
The Infinity-U notch has a 24-megapixel selfie
camera with AR Emoji. The Android 9 Pie 9 OS is preloaded on the device. The
smartphone may come in 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM variants and its storage choices
are 64 GB and 128 GB. The 6,000mAh battery of the smartphone through USB-C.
Even though the phone is equipped with a massive battery, it weighs only 174 grams.
The leakster has not mentioned the name of the
processor that will be powering the Galaxy M30s. Recently, a Google Play
Console listing of the phone was spotted through which it was revealed that it
is fueled by the unannounced Exynos 9611.
The image of the Galaxy M30s shows that the phone
will be offering an impressive screen-to-body ratio. The rear side of the phone
has an ugly-looking camera module that has three sensors and a separately
placed LED flash. A fingerprint scanner can be seen on the backside of the
smartphone.
Samsung India Senior Vice President Asim Warsi has
confirmed to 91mobiles that the Galaxy M30s will be priced between Rs. 15,000
and Rs. 20,000 and it will be fueled by the new Exynos 9611. The South Korean
company is also expected to unleash the Galaxy M10s phone alongside it. The
handset will be priced under Rs. 10,000. The improved edition of the Galaxy M10
will be featuring a 4,000mAh battery and dual rear cameras. The M10s had
recently appeared on Geekbench with specs like Exynos 7885, 3 GB of RAM and
Android 9 Pie OS.
