Up until today the Realme 5 Pro was exclusive to the
Indian market but now the company has introduced another version for the
Chinese public called Realme Q. Visually the phone is identical to the Realme 5
Pro down to the holographic diamond texture and color options. Similarly, the
hardware front remains unchanged with the same 6.3-inch IPS display, Snapdragon
712 chipset and quad-camera setup.
The display comes with the same waterdrop notch
housing the 16MP selfie camera. Around the back we have the 48MP main Sony IMX
586 paired with the 8MP ultrawide sensor, a dedicated 2MP macro cam and a 2MP
depth sensor.
The battery capacity remains at 4,035 mAh with
support for 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The software front is covered by Color
OS6 on top of Android 9 Pie. Reservations for the Reame Q start later today
while official sales are scheduled for September 9.
The base version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage
starts at CNY 998 (US$ 139). There’s also a 6/64GB variant for CNY 1,198 (US$ 167)
and 8/128 GB model which goes for CNY 1,498 (US$ 209).
