OnePlus has already begun hyping its own upcoming
refresh of the OnePlus 7. Just yesterday, OnePlus CEO posted images of the
OnePlus 7T’s backside with triple cameras and a redesigned circular camera
island and a matte blue gradient finish.
Coincidentally, the OnePlus HD1903 has appeared on
Geekbench and we suspect this is the OnePlus 7T. Although the benchmark doesn’t
explicitly reveal any specifications other than the 8GB of RAM but the test
results are slightly higher than those on the OnePlus 7’s Snapdragon 855 which
could signify the bump up to a Snapdragon 855+. Keep in mind these scores
reflect the updated Geekbench version 5.0.1
There is still little known about the exact updates
for the OnePlus 7T Pro, whose render leaked showing a new slit next to the
triple cameras perhaps housing a new ToF sensor. Other than that, the device
looks identical. Rumors indicate the 7T Pro would bump up to the Snapdragon
855+ and could possibly support 960fps slow motion.
Specific wording on OnePlus’ landing pages for the
7T only make mention of a “OnePlus 7T reveal” on the US page while other
regions mention the “7T Series launch”, suggesting that the US may only get the
OnePlus 7T while other regions may see two refreshed devices or just one of the
two.
OnePlus is also supposed to launch OnePlus TV in
India at the New Delhi launch event. The upcoming OnePlus event is going to
take place on September 26 for India and the US and October 10 for London. If
you are in New Delhi or London, you can buy tickets to attend the event.
