MevoFit today launched its new fitness band called
MevoFit Run in the Indian market expanding its fitness trackers portfolio. For
those who’re unaware, MevoFit is yet another fitness-focused startup in India
which is also known for its audio product. When it comes to the fitness
trackers, the Indian market is already witnessing an immense competition from
the likes of Xiaomi and Honor. In fact, Samsung recently joined the league with
its budget-friendly Galaxy Fit E. It would be interesting to see how well this
new MevoFit Run Fitness Band performs in the market.
Talking about the specifications, the fitness band
comes with a 0.96-inch TFT color display with the resolution of 128×64 pixels.
The display is large enough to display most of the information on the home
screen itself. The tracker supports 6 different customizable UI faces on top.
At the core, MevoFit Run is powered by the Nordic 52832 chipset which is
claimed to offer accurate and stable data monitoring. Just like any other
fitness tracker out there, this one too can record your workouts, runs, walks
and much more. Unfortunately, there is no information on whether the wearable
can track swimming strokes.
The wearable can also show you text notifications,
calendar, ability to call and different app support. Coming to the battery
backup, the company claims 4-5 days of backup on a single charge. The fitness
band also comes with the support of GPS and much playback and has IP67 water
resistance. The companion app is available for both Android and iOS platform.
The application also features advanced functions such as diet tracking, workout
routines, fitness challenges and much more. Above all, you can also measure
heart rate, BP, ECG, and PPG with the help of this band. The company is also
teasing a Sports Mode that gives you access to various activity mode to choose
from.
MevoFit Run fitness band is available in three
different color options namely Blue, Black, and Purple. The strap is made up of
high-quality TPU that prevents it from falling off. The fitness band is up for
grabs via Amazon India and Flipkart for a price tag of INR 4,990. Additionally,
the company is also offering a one-year manufacturer warranty.
