Xiaomi has just got two new phones certified by the
Chinese 3C, and they are likely members of the upcoming Redmi 8 series. The
devices with model numbers M1906G7E and M1906G7T have received China’s
Compulsory Certificate mark, alongside an 18W charger with a serial number
MDY-10-EC.
The second line reads that another phone with two
model numbers (likely different memory combinations) got the approval from 3C,
but they appear to be low-end or mid-range phones since they’ll ship with the
MDY-09-EK charger that tops up at 10W.
It is way too early to know what these phones are,
but with that kind of charging speeds they are likely low-end to mid-range
affairs so joining the Redmi 8 series seems likely.
