vivo iQOO Pro LTE

We are expecting the vivo iQOO Pro to arrive tomorrow with Snapdragon 855+ and 5G capabilities. The phone even cleared TENAA, confirming it will support NSA bands 41 and 78. A different handset with the model number V1922T appeared today at the Chinese regulatory, revealing an LTE version is also incoming and will probably make an appearance at tomorrow’s event.

The V1922T phone is practically indistinguishable from the 5G-enabled V1916A - it will have 2.96 GHz-clocked CPU (that’s the Snapdragon 855+), the same footprint, the same camera setup (48 MP + 13 MP + 2 MP) on the back and up to 12 GB RAM. Since the device is coming with a Qualcomm SoC, the single difference is the lack of a Snapdragon X50 modem.

Another expected difference is the price tag. We can only speculate at this point, but given how the OnePlus 7 Pro and ZTE Axon 10 Pro have around €100 difference between their 5G and non-5G versions, we expect something similar with the vivo iQOO Pro.

Knowing how vivo historically prices its flagships, our educated guess would be CNY 4,500-CNY 5,000 (US$ 700/€ 640) for the regular vivo iQOO Pro and CNY 5,500-CNY 6,000 (US$ 850/€ 765) for the 5G option.
