Branding itself as America’s fastest-growing brand,
TCL proved this again by unveiling a new series of 4K AI smart TVs in India.
The line-up consists of the flagship P8S series, the mid-range P8E models, and
the more value-for-money P8 series TVs.
The P8S series includes two models, a 65-inch and a
55-inch while the P8E Elite Series consists of 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and
65-inch models. Lastly, the P8 Series has 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch models.
All of these AI TVs boast 4k Ultra HD display and support HDR10 with TCL Wide
Colour Gamut technology. These runs on Android 9 Pie which support for Play
Store and since the Chromecast is already built-in, users can enjoy most of the
streaming apps. They have YouTube and Netflix pre-installed, with access to
content from TCL's partner platforms.
Far-field hands-free voice interaction is a
remarkable feature of the new P8, P8S, and P8E series of TCL's smart TVs. It
lets users give voice commands to control the TV's UI from a large distance such
as making program reservations, channel switching, power on or off, as well as
controlling other smart home devices such as sweeping robots, curtains, lights,
etc. with just your voice. Apart from that, users can install apps and games on
the TV since these have Bluetooth connectivity for external audio device
pairing and provide access to the Google Play Store as mentioned.
TCL P8S Series 55-inch TV is priced at Rs. 44,990 and the 65-inch model is priced at Rs. 64,990. TCL
P8E Series 43-inch TV is priced at Rs. 29,990, 50-inch at Rs.
33,990, 55-inch at Rs. 41,990 and 65-inch at Rs.
59,990. There’s still no news if this new line-up from TCL
will arrive here in the Philippines and how much each of them will cost.
