Sony has just announced that its newest mirrorless
camera is now in the Philippines, the 61MP full-frame Alpha 7RIV. As the latest addition to the
company’s Alpha series, this mirrorless camera has a massive 61MP Exmor R BSI
CMOS sensor and enhanced BIONZ X image processor. These inclusions result in
superb imaging in precise speed.
With a 15-stop dynamic range at low sensitivities,
it can give smooth natural gradations ranging from deep shadows to highlights. It features an APS-C crop mode
delivering a remarkable high resolution of 26.2MP. It has 567 focal-plane
phase-detection AF points covering 74 percent of the image area and 425
contrast AF points.
This device is also first to utilize Real-time Eye
AF for movie recording and advanced Real-time Tracking and Real-time Eye AF for
still image recording. For its viewfinder, it boasts OLED "Tru-Finder" electric
viewfinder for superior detail, brightness, and contrast. Users can do
high-speed continuous shooting at up to 10 fps with full AF and AE tracking for
approximately 7 seconds in full-frame mode.
The Sony Alpha 7RIV is now available in the Philippines
for pre-order from August 24 to September 15, 2019. There are two options for the
pre-order package, Package A is for those who want the device/body only while
Package B includes the G Master Lens to the camera unit. A combination of these
packages is not allowed.Package A is priced at PHP 199,999.
