Last month ZTE filed a patent for a smartphone with
dual punch-hole cameras. And now, this Chinese phone maker has filed another
patent for a smartphone rocking a slider design and two selfie cameras. The front glass of the handset itself
doesn't house the selfie cameras, as they are revealed when you slide the
screen down. Sliding it up uncovers what looks like a speaker grille.
Around the back, the phone has a dual camera setup
placed vertically in the upper-left corner, with the flash located right below.
There's also an oval-shaped fingerprint scanner further down below in the
center.
The smartphone has a volume rocker and power key on
its right side and the SIM card slot on the left. At the top is the headphone
jack, with the USB-C port and primary microphone located at the bottom. It remains to be seen if ZTE goes
on to make this smartphone a reality, or if it just remains on paper as a
drawing.
