Cherry Mobile will a sub-PHP 5K phone with 4GB RAM,
the Flare Y7 Pro. Now, we just got the full specs of the device and a few more
details about it. At PHP 4,999, Flare Y7 Pro is expected to be one of
the most exciting budget phones in recent years. It uses a matte-like
polycarbonate shell combined with aluminum titanium alloy injection at the back
and a 5.7-inch TrueView 2.5D curved IPS screen with HD+ 1520 x 720 resolution
at 295 ppi.
Under the hood, it is powered by the 2.0GHz 64-bit
Helio A22 quad-core processor, a 12nm chip with PowerVR GE8300. It is also a
rare budget phone with a large 4GB RAM and 32GB storage at this price point. It also uses a 16MP Sony IMX298 + 2MP GC2375
dual-cam behind with a real-time bokeh effect and a 16MP Samsung S5K3P3.
This phone is also equipped with a side-mounted
fingerprint reader and an AW8898 audio amplifier. We also confirmed that it
goes with the Band 28 700MHz 4G LTE connectivity for better indoor signal
reception.
Lastly, it is one of the few budget phones with
Android Pie OS out of the box.
