Transcend launched the comapany's new line of
solid-state drives designed to cater to the high-end embedded market.
The company's new SSDs is made of top-tier 3D NAND.
It features enhanced endurance as well as great thermal tolerance which allows
it to retain high rate performance even under hot conditions. The new SSDs will
be available in different formats such 2.5-inch SATA III, PCIe M.2, and SATA
III M.2 form factors.
It rated to endure 3K Program/Erase cycles and
engineered to withstand temperatures from -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees
Celsius. Embedded applications are going to be able to run reliably including
Artificial Intelligence of Things, Intelligent Transportation System, Internet
of Vehicles and surveillance systems.
The lineup includes the MTE550T-V and the MTE550T-I
M.2 2280 SSDs meet NVMe 1.3 standards and use the PCIe Gen 3 x4 interface. This
results in to 1,800 MB/s read speeds and 800MB/s write. It also has SLC caching
and RAID engine that protects data and enhance drive stability. LPDC Error
Correction Code detects and corrects bit errors for greater reliability.
