In the last weeks Chinese phone maker OUKITEL has
been teasing a very interesting mid-range option that’s expected to hit the
market any day. We’re talking about the OUKITEL Y4800, a smartphone that will
pack a 48MP camera and Helio P70 and much more. A device with similar specs to
the ones just mentioned would probably go on the market for around US$ 250, which
actually is the full retail price of the Y4800. OUKITEL decided to thank early
buyers with a special discount though, which means the smartphone can be
purchased for just US$ 199.99 during presale.
The OUKITEL Y4800 is
equipped with a powerful MediaTek Helio P70 processor clocked at 2.0Ghz,
together with 6GB RAM. This setup should offer high performance, no matter what
you throw at it: games, browsing, multi-tasking. Additionally, there are 128GB
of flash storage, allowing you to store up to 31,000 photos or 13,000 songs.
The OUKITEL Y4800 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen
with 1080*2340 resolution. It adopts LTPS and OCA full lamination for a 82% LCD
saturation and 90% touch screen transparency. Meanwhile the e screen-to-body
ratio reaches up to 90%.
Battery wise, the Y4800 packs a 4000mAh capacity one
with supports for 9V/2A fast charging. It also works with 4.5V/5A or 5V/4.5A
super fast charging if needed. This means the smartphone can be fully charged
in less than 2 hours (9V/2A charging).
We left the best selling feature for last though.
The Y4800 does indeed sport a high quality Samsung GM1 48MP sensor. Meanwhile
features include night mode, face beautify, slow motion, panorama and
time-lapse. The Samsung GM1 sensor is also helped by a 5MP auxiliary camera for
a F1.8+F2.2 double aperture.
Presales for Y4800 will start on July 22nd and for
the first week you will be able to enjoy the special discounted price of US$ 199.99. That is US$ 50 down from the retail US$ 249.99 pricing. So if this little
gem has already caught your attention, then add it to your wish list and
pre-order when it arrives exclusively first on the Banggood e-shop.
