Last week we learned that the Oppo K3 is heading to
India and now we get an exact date to look forward to - July 19. The Snapdragon 710-powered Oppo
K3 shares much of its design and internals with the Reno but has a different
screen size and camera setup.
The Reno comes with a 6.4" display, 48MP+5MP
dual rear camera, and a 16MP shark fin-style selfie snapper. The K3, on the
other hand, sports a 6.5" screen and boasts a dual camera setup with 16MP
and 2MP units. It retains the 16MP selfie camera, but it elevates from the
center vertically.
The Oppo K3 originally came in two memory versions -
6GB/64GB and 8GB/128, but it seems India will only get the top model. The smartphone will be sold
through Amazon.in, and we will know more about its pricing and availability
next Friday.
