Electronic engineer, musician and maker Julien
Lacaze, has created the MSX Tribute sequencer which he has launched wire
Kickstarter this month to raise the required € 26,000 needed to make the jump
into production. The MSX Tribute is a step sequencer / groovebox that enables
people to create music in the style of classic MSX music.
The MSX Tribute is based on Yamaha YM2413 soundchip,
which was included in some MSX sound enhancement cartridges, in MSX2 computers,
in Sega Master System Mark III, and in some Yamaha Keyboards in the 80’s-90’s.
Features of the sequencer include :
