The Huawei Mate 20 X (5G) was slated to hit the
shelves in the UK in June, but that didn't happen as the launch was dropped by
the country's carriers following the US ban on the Chinese tech giant. Despite that setback, the Mate 20
X (5G) has become Huawei's first 5G smartphone to go on sale as it's available
for purchase in the UAE through Etisalat for AED 3,523 (US$ 960/€ 850).
The smartphone is also available for pre-order on
Amazon Italy for € 1,099 (US$ 1,240) with a July 22 release date, and it will go on
sale in China from July 26. The Mate 20 X (5G) is actually the Mate 20 X having different memory
configuration and battery size.
The regular Mate 20 X comes with 6GB RAM, 128GB
storage and a 5,000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging, while the 5G variant
ships with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and a 4,200 mAh cell with 40W charging.
