After we got to see the regular Honor 9X last week,
now its larger brother the Honor 9X Pro also surfaced in a schematic courtesy
of Evan Blass. Overall the two have identical designs and share the pop-up
selfie cameras but the Pro will feature a larger display alongside a triple
rear camera and 3.5mm headphone jack.
According to previous spec leak, the Honor 9X Pro is
rumored to feature a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary camera with an 8MP wide-angle
sensor and 2MP depth helper. Display-wise we should be getting an LCD panel
with a diagonal between 6.5 and 6.7-inches. The design will feature a dual
glass build alongside a metal frame.
The processor inside is expected to be the new Kirin
810 which debuted with the Huawei Nova 5 last month. Rounding out the spec sheet is a
25MP selfie cam and a 4,000 mAh battery with 20W fast charging. The Honor 9X
series is expected to debut on July 23 in China and slide into Honor’s midrange
portfolio.
