Canon is gearing up to launch a new Indiegogo crowdfunding
campaign to raise funds for its new Canon IVY REC clippable, “go anywhere”
camera and is currently offering a chance to register and preorder the new
pocket camera at a 30% discount during the crowdfunding campaign. “Made to go
where the moment takes you: waterproof, shockproof, lightweight & wireless
connectivity.”
Only a few images and a couple of specifications
have been teased at the current time via the placeholder on the Indiegogo
website but as soon as more information becomes available we will keep you up
to speed as always. We do know is that the small camera will be equipped with a
13.0 Megapixel 1/3-inch CMOS sensor and capable of capturing Full HD video at
1080p up to 60fps. The small camera will also be equipped with a clip that
doubles as a viewfinder and it will link to the smartphone companion CanonMini
Cam App via its Bluetooth and wireless connectivity. Enables users to preview a
live view direct from their smartphone as well as easily transfer and share
photos and videos.
