The Raspberry Pi Foundation is today officially
launched the latest Raspberry Pi mini PC in the form of the new Raspberry Pi 4
Model B which can be equipped with up to 4 GB of RAM. The latest generation Pi
mini PC can be equipped with 1 GB, 2 GB or 4 GB of LPDDR4 SDRAM and is priced
at £ 34, £ 44 or £ 54 respectively.
The Raspberry Pi 4 moves to USB-C power meaning that
you’ll need a new USB-C power supply that can supply 5V at 3A and is now
equipped with a faster 1.5GHz 64-bit quad-core CPU on the Raspberry Pi 4’s
Cortex A72 SoC, coupled with the up to 4GB LPDDR4 RAM give performance
comparable to entry-level x86 desktop PCs. Using the new Raspberry Pi 4, you
can run two monitors at once with support for 4K resolutions.
The new Raspberry Pi 4 also has upgraded USB
capacity and is equipped with two USB 2 ports together with two USB 3 ports,
which can transfer data up to ten times faster. Features and specifications of
