HTC has announced U19e, the company’s latest
mid-range smartphone at an event in China, as expected. It has a 6-inch FHD+
18:9 aspect ratio screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, is powered by
Snapdragon 710 with 6GB of RAM and Game assistant for an improved gaming
experience, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with HTC Sense UI, has a 12-megapixel rear
camera with f/1.8 aperture along with a 20-megapixel telephoto lens with
support for 2x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom. It has a 24-megapixel
front camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait selfies and
Iris face unlock.
The phone has a metal frame and the purple version
has a translucent back. It packs a 3930mAh battery with support for Qualcomm
Quick Charge 4.0, but it comes with Quick Charge 3.0 charger in the box.
