Huawei sub-brand Honor has released a new smartphone
in the UK. This isn't a high-end device like the Honor 20 that should be
launching imminently. Instead, the Honor 8S is a very cheap basic smartphone,
that will set you back only £99.99 at Amazon, SIM-free and unlocked of course.
For that amount of cash, you get a 5.71-inch
720x1520 LCD touchscreen, the MediaTek Helio A22 SoC at the helm, 2GB of RAM,
32GB of expandable storage, a 13 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 5 MP
selfie snapper, and a 3,020 mAh battery. It runs Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9 lite
on top.
If you're thinking of going with something a bit
more high-end, perhaps one of the deals Honor has prepared may interest you.
First off - in light of the impending launch of its successor, the Honor 10 can
now be had for just £ 249, £ 150 less than when it launched (and than what the
Honor 20 is going to cost).
Or you could go bigger and snatch up an Honor View
20 for £ 369.99 (with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage) or £ 449.99 (with 8GB/256GB),
in both cases you're saving £ 130. Finally, the Honor 10 Lite has
been discounted from its usual £ 199 price to £ 169.95, so you can save a cool
£ 30 if you grab one now.
