Gigabyte has launched a new mini PC in the
form of the Gigabyte SBCAP3940 equipped with an Intel Atom x5-E3940 quad-core
processor which can be supported by an up to 8 GB of DDR3L-1866 memory thanks
to the inclusion of a single SODIMM slot. The mini PC is also compatible with a
fanless chassis such as the 24EC5-1SB10A-01R says Gigabyte.
Other features of the new Gigabyte mini PC include
two mini PCIe slots enabling users to install solid state drives and/or a WiFi
card. As well as and two SATA III connectors, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 4 x USB 2.0
ports, 2 x Gigabit Ethernet ports, HDMI, VGA and audio.
